I went for my first appointment for a florist and found out that high centerpieces cost between 150 and 200?? is this price high or is this average?? I am having at least 25 tables and i am freaking out that i will have to spend like 7000 (total) on flowers....what is an average cost?

Re: price of centerpieces
well it depends a lot on what kind of flowers you're having, but that price does sound high to me.

it depends on the type of flowers and also how many you are getting.

That sounds about average for high centerpieces. Low ones might run about $75 depending on what flowers you use.

If you're looking to save think about a potted plant. It will last longer and some of your lucky guests can bring it home and plant it in their garden. :) You can get nice ones for under $50. I am thinking about that....

Re: price of centerpieces
Our CP's are included with our venue and we just went with a package piece, no upgrades. CP's are not a priority to us. Our venue has beautiful views on the water.
But... that does seem to be the going rate for high CP's. You may want to think of DIY or getting the pedetals yourself. A lot of girls sell them after they use them so you can get a good deal.

I think that is too high. My Tall CP's are running $95 and if I had wanted low ones they would have been $65 (I think)
