Price of flowers

Price of flowers

I met with an awesome florist yesterday but I had no idea how expensive flowers were. My quote was $2500 which includes my 9 girls flowers plus mine, 10 guys, 4 parents, 4 grandparents, church pew bows, rose petals, 12 centerpieces, cake flowers and fake bouquet to toss. What do you girls think?

Unfortunately, that sounds about right. Mine is a little less than that, but I have fewer people and more tables. I also chose inexpensive flowers for my CP to keep the cost down.

Man... I guess my florist is way more expensive

I got a quote from the only 2 florists I can use for $3400 and it included less than yours, I have less people and around the same amount of centerpieces...

Do you mind me asking what florist did you use and if your CP were high or low?

fashionhag,

I haven't really started looking for flowers yet but the quote you got sounds great! Where are you getting your flowers? TIA.

It also depends on the type of flowers you are having, too.

That sounds like a great price to me - that's a lot of bouquets and centerpieces to order along with all the other items. It adds up but IMO it sounds like you are getting a lot too.

Re: Price of flowers

yeah - flowers are expensive. My cost about $2500.

1 Bride
2 MOH
2 BM
4 coursages
4 bout
flower for cake
dais
10 center pieces
2 pillars with flowers for church
12 pew bows

I'm not getting much for the amount of money I am spending.

I am getting my flowers from A&S Whitestone. The contact person there is Ann. They are also a flower nursery.

I am using Jack and Rose and got the best price I saw from him. I definitely recommend checking him out.

That quote was from Flower Michele and I absolutely loved the work that I saw there. John was amazing, he was so helpful, I just had no idea flowers were that expensive. But thank you for all the positive feedback. It helped alot.

FlowerMichele is who I am using as well. John is great, though.

1 father bout
2 mother corsages
