Price of Stamps Going Up

FYI, for those of you sending out invites after May

Well my invites are going out in April -- but the response wont be due until sometime after the rates go up...

So how much am i supposed to put on the response envelope?

get the forever stamps. they can be used, as the name implies, forever, even if the rate goes up. They are not that pretty, but they do the job. (they are liberty bells - maybe they will change the style?)

Yeah they are the same price....I should go stock up for my thank you notes!!!

Amazing how much you spend on postage from invites to shower thank yous to wedding thank yous.

And just to tell you my pet peeve of the day - you pay for the postage for the reply cards and some people don't even send them in!!!!!!!! GRRRR I want my 41 cents back!

Someone please prevent me from having a heart attack...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sending my invites out the last week of march and because im an eager beaver, i have them all put together with stamps on the response card but not on the outside of the envelope. My response date is May 25th. Does this mean that i'm screwed beacause i will be a CENT short?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I will scream my bloody head off.

Did you seal the envelopes yet? Maybe you can add a one-cent stamp to the response card, just to be on the safe side?

Ugh i hate the 2 stamps thing but i guess i really dont have a choice. I am soooooooo mad! I cant tell FH cause then he will tell me 'i told you so' cause he told me not to put the stamps on yet.

I hear ya...I'm the same way, I like to do things early and get over with...sometimes it comes back and bites me in the butt. Good luck!
