I know this may vary based on what a bride is looking for in terms of style, diamonds, etc....... but FH and I are seriously clueless when it comes to the price of wedding bands. Can everyone please give me an idea of what they should cost?
We are getting them designed bc my ering has some curves to it and we can't find a wedding band that fits flush against it.

We just went today & paid $650 in total for both. Mine has diamonds & FH is just plain white gold.

WOW! That sounds like a great price. We went to a place that designs them and he told us it would cost me roughly 2k-3K but maybe that's for what I want? Or maybe I'm being ripped off? Thats why I'm asking everyone- we have no clue what they typically cost.

i think between 500-1000 is a safe bet. obviously that will depend on material and diamonds if you want them. i am glad you are getting one that is made to 'fit' your e-ring, you won't be disappointed in that choice!

Yeah, we really liked the work he showed us and he is making exactly what i want but I just wasnt sure what was a reasonable price. The guy asked us how much we were willing to spend (FH and I are obviously idiots)...We told him $2000-3000 for mine and 1-2000 for him. I think we told him too much! lol
I want a plat.band with diamonds around the top all the way but not on the bottom. Just around the top enough where you can't see the bottom doesnt have any diamonds.

We spent about $2500 on both my ring and Fh's ring. His was $1000 custom made and mine I believe was $1450 not custom made but it included tax and a special warranty

I think this all depends on the what you are looking for and if you want plat or gold and diamonds in it and what quality diamonds you are getting

We paid a combined total of $800 for our rings and we both love them. I have a half eternity band of diamonds and I really need to take a pic of FH's band b/c I can't describe it well. It is fairly wide and has a shiny finish on top and bottom but a matte finish in the middle. So nice.

Mine is a diamond eternity in white gold that was $1100 and FH's is plain white gold for $200

mine was $450 (no tax, we paid cash) for a half-way around diamond band, .5 carats. we ended up getting white gold instead of plat because i didn't think it would be visibly different and it was double for plat.
pix are in my album. we got a really really good deal.
Didn't look for FH's ring yet.
Edit: department stores and mall jewelry stores are really really really marked up and will rip you off --- FM me for more info
