so i just went for my first meeting with the dj. And this company offers dj photography and video. they seem to be really good and i know a few people that used them in westchester. So i was wondering ,i dont know the normal price range for all of those things especially wen its all combined . So if anyone could give me an idea of what is resonable i would really appreciate it. they quoted me 9000 and thats with a discount and alot of freebees . its the best dj package they hav , 2nd to best photography package andbest video. Just to giveyou an idea.

Re: price on dj
Well we haven't booked photo/video yet, but we spent $1200 on dj, and have $5000 budgeted for photo/video. So for me, I think that's high. But if that's in your budget (and I know some people are spending a LOT more on dj etc) and you like them, then go for it!

Re: price on dj
Well if you break it down:
DJ $2000 Video $1500 Photo $4000
So for all three I would say somewhere in the area of $7500....so $9k does sound high but I have no idea whats included in you dj, photo and video package.

Re: price on dj
i jus figured the total im spending on DJ, video, and photo, and it comes out to 9000.
and we got a great dj package also, DJ/MC, uplighting, monogram gobo, another light package, a percussionist, giveaway props, and one of the top photo packages and video.....
does urs include all that stuff?? if so, then yeah price is reasonable, especially if they're very reputable
i know that its pricey to alot of ppl, but these are our 2 most important things...entertainment, and the memories we're going to be left with...i think its worth it

Re: price on dj
That seems super high...also, DJ companies that do photo/video typically dont have the best people doing the photos...they are generally new to the business and dont have much training

Re: price on dj
ya the only reason why i would think its high for this situation ur talking about is because its a company that offers all 3 services...i would think that if they're the same company, the prices should be better than going separate...
cuz mine are separate vendors, i would ask for a deal in that sense....
also i agree w/gaby...i kno that my DJ is a very reputable DJ, and the photog/videog are very reputable for what they do...they specialize in the one service they provide...thats equally important
