Is there anyone willing to share some quotes they have gotten so far, my FH is a chef and there is no way that we can see every venue out there together, so if we have a good idea of places we can afford it would make it that much easier (I would hate to have to do this without him). We are thinking late March/April 2013. Thanks in advance!

Any places in particular you are looking for? I have a bunch of prices but they aren't all for march or april but some are. I have Chateau Briand, Jericho Terrace, Russo's, Bourne Mansion, Timber Point, Swan Club, Lombardi's on the Bay, The Riviera for those months and then a ton but for nov/dec pricing but usually they're sorta similar. Like Fox Hollow, Watermill, Eastwind. I've been to more but they're becoming a blur at this point!

Westbury Manor told me $83 for Saturday day/$105 for Saturday night in October. I believe they're usually lower in March/April as opposed to Fall & Winter prices.
If you're looking for a place with great grounds and gardens and even peacocks, plus outstanding food, I'd go here.
My heart is still set on Fox Hollow - I hope you find the place that really speaks to you, too!

These are quote for the month of Sept.
Chateau Briand: Sat/Sun afternoon: $75pp..Sun evening in Sept: $90pp
Crest Hollow Country Club: Sunday Evening: $89pp
Jericho Terrace: Sunday Evening: $85pp
Chataeu La Mer: Sunday Evening: $90pp
Those are a few places we visited before deciding

We are paying 143 per person in September but we have lobster and crab bar, sushi, caviar & vienesse hour. I think before we added all that it was like 120 per person? Something like that.

i heard pricing changed as of January so quotes may be off ? our quotes are from october (for sept 2013)
Thank you ladies for all of your help and input. We went to several places today and are going next weekend to search for more. It was a lot of fun to go around and look at all of these beautiful locations; we have yet to find the right fit, but only managed to go to 4 places (we drove past 2 others that once we saw in person found that it was not even worth to go in...)
Any other quotes would be helpful if you have them.
We saw:
The Woodlands at the Green--right now they are offering 69.99 special to get people to book as they were once a private place but due to lack of bookings they are going public. The room was outdated and because they are not doing well they can't afford the upgrades that other venues have. I actually loved the menu and the room but my mom hated it.
Jericho Terrace---$90 vienese hour included but the mid sized room is booked, the small room to me is just too tight and they need 175 minimum for the large room. We may decide to take the high guarantee cause I did love it.
Inn at New Hyde Park--$125 per per person, loved the cocktail room but the reception room to me wasn't as nice.
Russo's on the Bay--$105 per person. Absolutely amazing but they want a 175 guarantee as well, and at that price I think we may go over budget as this was without the vienese hour and I want that...
Hope this helps others that are looking for this time as well.
The Woodlands was the only place that did have my Saturday night in March which was somewhat disheartening, however they all had the Friday for the same weekend. We are firm with the weekend as I am a teacher and this is the weekend prior to my spring break.
We are open to any other suggestions as we are from NYC and aren't so familiar with many LI venues, the ones in Brooklyn to me are expensive for the same services and therefore we would rather travel the 50 or so miles for the same services.

I just contacted the Riviera and Lands End- both gave me price quotes over the phone. The Riviera was $79 for a Friday night in Novembemver and Lands End was $105 for the same day and time.

Check out Crest Hollow Country Club. I was quoted $75 per person on a Friday night in May and Viennese is an extra $10 per person. Since ur not in the heart of wedding season, u would probably get a great rate from them.

RIght now I'm torn between Russo's and Sandcastle. For January or February for a Friday night ROTB was 105 plus tax and gratuity and if I guaranteed 175 he would throw in the venetian for almost nothing, and SC I was quoted 102 plus tax, gratuity is already included, as is an hospitality hour and venetian hour and seafood boat. I actually think I am more in love with SC then I am Russo's. Its so pretty and 1 wedding at a time

That Saturday in March (3/23) is going to be difficult bc it is the Saturday before the Easter/Passover break so a lot of teachers scooped it up already. I know because I tried to snag it myself. I got $115 at the Estate at East Wind on Saturday, March 16 with 150 person minimum, which includes the potato bar, ice sculptures and Viennese hour. I went the first time without my FH and honestly I think it was better bc he is a better negotiator and without him there we knew what we were working with.
