Price Quotes

Hi Ladies,

I doubt I'll ever get married I've been engaged for 2 1/2 years now and registered on this site but never fully went out hall shopping now our parents are pushing us to go lol.

I'm looking for price quotes for 2014 preferably Friday/Sundays at

Chateau Caterers
Verdis
Leonards

Please FM me!!!!

Any place near Nassau County or Queens or Brooklyn. Suffolk is a bit too far out for my family as we live in the Boroughs.

Thanks again.

Don't worry we're all in it for the long run anyways. There's a ton of places, I'm not a big fan of the aggregated lists on these sites either so I'll list a few of my LI faves closer to Queens....

Sandcastle: beautiful place, great package with centerpieces.
The Inn at NHP: amazing looking CH, large ballroom.
Chateau Briand: Miami beach style CH
Venetian Yacht Club
Chateau La Mer: both by the water, beautiful summer settings

In Queens:
Elite Palace: haven't seen the place myself, but hear they're a newer place with a nice package & price. It is on a busy street corner though, not really off on its own like other places.

Bronx...
Marina Del Rey: looks amazinggg. I can't wait to check the place out. On the water, right off the Throgs Neck Bridge, so not too far.

Thanks for the replies!

I want to also check out elite palace the place seems to have mixed reviews but looks beautiful same goes for Leonard's but I love the renovations as I just looked at their fb page! Well if u happen to get any price quotes before I do since I'm not going out until April for, price quotes because both our parents want to come hall shopping with us. I just need to narrow down the list by seeing some price quotes so I know what's in our range.

Douglaston Manor, Floral Terrace , Inn at NHP might also work for you. Good luck!

Marina Del Rey is extremely reasonable for Sunday weddings! Not sure if you are looking at venues in the Bronx but it is literally right over the bridge.

I am getting married at Chateau Briand on a Saturday next April. I'm sure my prices would be more than what you'er looking for, but FM if you are interested. And i'm a fellow Brooklynite too! :)

Hey just to warn you, a lot of my friends suggested not going with your parents at first. Not because of the constant input and loving opinions they shower us with (hint of sarcasm); when a Venue sees parents along with you, they sense more money due to Parental contributions (whether or not they really will be).

I took my FW on my first round of viewings. A lot of time wasted, but worth it to find the right one. Once I narrow it down to like 5 (haha, I know), I'm taking the parents out for a round.

I understand I personally want the parents there so that they can see the pp and hopefully they will understand that we can not afford to invite 2nd and 3rd cousins that we haven't seen in a decade

I just called Chateau Briand to schedule a tour and they quickly told me that for a Friday in August 2014 theres a $1,000 chapel fee and it'd be $97 per person. Just figured I'd share :)
