Starting this week I have appointments set up for photographer, DJ, decorator, videoographer, etc. I have no idea how much they should all be about. What are the averages for each, this way I will know if they are overpricing me.
Thanks...

Re: Prices
They all vary greatly. We are in the process of photographers and have been quoted everywhere from 4,000 (for two photographers and simple video) to over 10K (a little more elaborate package but not much).
who are you meeting with?

Re: Prices
Check out Photography by Christos ...he's got reasonable prices and he's a really nice guy, too! he's located in Queens.
For video, check out Bellarino Video . They're located in Massapequa.

Re: Prices
We are using Duet and I definitely recommend checking them out. They are reasonably priced and I really liked their photos.

Re: Prices
It really depends on so many things so the prices range. I suggest you decide what you want and meet with several vendors this way you can see who is giving you the best deal.

Re: Prices
romeo is okay depending on what kind of pictures you guys like - i find that his pictures are very traditional which isnt really my style - and i think he is on the expensive side. there are so many photographers that i've seen on this website that i've never even heard of before that take really really beautiful pictures....
here are just some off the top of my head:
angelica glass (she is my photographer) something in blue blue daisy 12th night duet thomas paul
ugh there are so many more i just cant think straight right now.....you can check out brides reviews and see their pro pics - that way you can see real pictures - not just what photographers post on their site....but checking out a bunch of websites helps - that way you can see all the different styles different photogs have.....it will give you a better idea of what style you like....
have fun!

Re: Prices
I know that if you use both for video and photography it comes out a little cheaper.
We are using ADA studios for both. We were quoted under $5000. YAY!
