?Prices for bouquets and centerpieces

I only need bouquets and about 10-12Centerpieces for approximately 150 quests. I was given a quote of $2,000 and I thought this was too high. I have 5 girls and 1 Flowergirl. Please give me some ideas on pricing. I know roses are one of the cheapest routes so I planned so using mainly all roses. Please help

it also depends on what kind of centerpieces you are looking for.. are you looking for something high?

What florist is that with? It is high but I was quoted about the same thing at a couple of florists.

The quote is actuall from someone that is supposed to be giving me a hook up because he does it on the side although he works full time for a professional florist.

These are the quotes that I have gotten, with high/low ranges. For most florists, some items were above, and some were below avg, so many were in the same price range for the overall package.

Bridal bouquet $110-$150
Bridemaids $50-$75
Bouts $5-$8
Corsages $25-$30
Chuppa $350-$600

I booked a florist where I'll be spending about $600 for personal flowers, I have 4 bridemaids, 1 MOH, 4 groomsmen, and 2fathers/2mothers.

Definately Burtons in Melville. I am getting 11 raisied centerpieces (the lower ones are cheaper), my bouquet and a throw one, 5 bridesmaid, four flower girls, 5 ushers, 2 moms and 2 dads and any flowers i want for under $1500.

They are on Rt 110 in Melville.

Try the Milleridge Florist in Jericho. They do great work & are really reasonable

I second Milleridge Florist. We are getting bride's bouquet, a MOH bo-k, 2 BM bo-k, 6 bouts., 5 coursages, and 16 low centerpieces, plus flowers for the cake for less than $1600. And the people who work there are enthusiastic and very helpful!
