I'm just starting to look into this and I'm wondering if any brides would mind posting the approximate price you are paying for hair/make-up on your wedding day. I have no idea what the range is. Also, what are you paying for each trial?
If anyone has recommendations for reliable, affordable hair/make-up people in Nassau County, I would greatly appreciate suggestions...

I didn't get any makeup trials because my friend is a makeup artist, but I paid $50 plus tip for hair trials (2) and $125 plus tip for the day of.

The price for brides for my person was quoted as $150, up-do's for the bridesmaids are $90. I'm hoping this is one helluva hairstyle that day

I used Harvey's Hair Salon in Cedarhurst. Mimi did my hair, and Lysa did my makeup. Both did an awesome good. Trials and day of wedding prices were the same. Hair was $65.00 and makeup $40.00

I'm paying $250 for day-of makeup ($75 each for the other ladies that day). As for trials, the price varied a lot. I had 2 free trials, another 2 were around $40, one was $75, and another was $125 ( ).

try Jackie from I Make You Up, i had a trial with her today and absolutely loved it, and her! she is a vendor on here.

I had Tarale for hair (Loved her) and Jacqueline Nicole for make-up (loved her too!!)
Taralee was $125 for me and $75 for each additional person. I paid for the girl's hair as one of my presents to them so it was quite expensive for me.
Jacqueline Nicole was $100 for me and each additional person $55.00. If you want airbrushing it was additional $25.

I have a trial the week of December 27th with Jillian from gorgeous faces and Sara rock.. I will let you know how that goes. I think they are vendors on here if you want to check our their prices. They seem really nice!!!!

i am using oksana for makeup - she charges $35 fora trial if you go to her (she's in queens) or $50 if she comes to you, and it's $80 the day of.
for hair, i am using jen (hair genie), it was $50 for a trial, and $100 the day of.
