Will catering halls give you prices over the phone? I don't have time to check out places that I can not afford

Some do. I know the Riviera and Swan Club gave me prices. So did Ariana Waterfall. It doesn't hurt to try!

I used that site also. I looked at halls based on location and general cost, then I read a few reviews here to see if it was worth the trip to the hall.

Re: Prices over the phone?
Most of the places I called gave quotes over the phone:
Majestic Gardens East Wind Lands End
The Wedding Sites and Services is a great tool. Friends of mine bought me the book, and it is our best engagement gift to date!
I also found that the Sites and Services over quoted a little - or prices listed INCLUDE tax and gratuity.

If they say you have to come to see us for a price, I say well.. Tall Grass, TImberpoint, Majestic Gardens, and Chateau La Mer gave me prices over the phone and I dont have time, so Ill just forget it - they quickly change their policy LOL
