I just got off the phone with Maximus and here is the pricing they gave me- is this average?
Hair- average cost of $70 for an up do; $35 for a blowout (more if long hair)
Make-up- $50
I wanted to book the girl who did me for e-pics and who will also be doing me for my RD. I am having someone else do me for the wedding-- so, not sure if I was getting done if the prices would be better.
They also charge 35% of the total if they come to you- only if it is 4 or more people. If it is under 4- it is bascially double the price- which we would not do.

I used Oksana, and so have alot of other girls on here...all of whom were very pleased with her...
I don't have hair prices, but as far as makeup...my makeup person is charging $75 per person in the BP (a lot more for me though! ) and she's coming to us in Westchester.

Denise from Angele Eyes did my mom and sister's makeup besides mine and charged $55 each.

IMO i think the hair price is a little high given the fact that they dont come to you. I know i called Cactus and they start at 50 for updos.

MY bridal party will be paying $40 for makeup and $60-$65 for hair.
That may all change if I don't like my hair & makeup trials tomorrow!

for make-up, mine is $100 ($125 if only 4 of my 'maids have it done) bridal party is $50pp if 5 or more people have it done and $65pp if it's 4 or less.
Reading other posts, I feel like I'm overpaying--am I??

I think your prices are typical and certainly wouldn't say you're overpaying.
I've known people who've paid $500 for their hair alone!

Whoa good reality check
I have a good friend whose sister-in-law (as a wedding present) paid to have her makeup done--it was over 700 dollars. You'd have to smear diamond dust on my face for that....
