Pricing for Hair & Makeup

i am starting to look into hair & makeup. I am little confused about pricing. i was quoted $150 for hair AND makeup trial and $400 (hair & makeup) for the wedding day. she is a very reputable vendor & am sure she will be worth every penny.
does this sound right? seems a little high. but i am willing to spend a little more on this vendor. this is the first response i got back. also, not having a BP so that rules out alot of vendors thAt require a minimum.

if anybody can give me any recommendations, i would appreciate it.

started to get anxious since i am getting close to my 6 month mark

I have 2 upcoming trials so far.

The first one is charge me $50 for hair trail and $50 for makeup trial. And it's $100 for makeup and $150 for hair the day off.

The other quote I got was pretty much the same thing. $50 for makeup and hair trial and $125 and $150 for makeup and hair day off.

I do know some vendors give you free trials and day off about $300.

It all depend on what you like and which vendor did the best work on you.

i think a lot of times hair and makeup vendors charge a little extra because they'll only do one wedding a day, especially if there is no minimum.

i really don't mind spending the extra money on my wedding day.. but i though $150 was a little steep for a trial

It does seem a bit high just for a trial. Look into some more vendors prehaps.

The makeup artist I want to use charges 200 for trial and 350 for day of so there are some that have high prices. It depends on if you feel its worth it.

For me I don't mind paying the $350 for the day of but to pay 200 for the trial as well I'm not sure I can do that. 550 is too much i think at this point. I am going to look into other vendors but I haven't decided yet.

$150 seems really high for a trial but maybe since they are reputable they are able to charge that price. im only paying $45 for each trial.

I was quoted the same and i think it's a bit high, but I've seen her work and she is amazing. I got other quotes they are around the same price range.
