just wondering what everyone is paying for photographer,florist,dj, etc... i am just starting to look around and want to get some ideas of how much i might be spending...thank you!

Everyone is paying a different price on those type of things. Some want bigger packages than others. I think ball park figures are (and anyone correct me if I'm wrong)
DJ: estimate about $2000 to $2500 Florist: estimate about $2000 - all depends on what you get - if you don't get centerpieces it's much less Photographer - not sure - I got a great package deal that includes photographer and photos, video and limo so I don't know what one would pay for each separately.

I'm paying $1,000 for my DJ dress was $450 on sale plus tax tiara was around $60 at Patchogue Fantasyland invites that I want are $58.90 per 100 plus all the extra stuff..but still pretty cheap not doing favors...considering a donation or baking cookies in a wedding shape....but maybe not..depends on money.... BM gifts...thinking of making jewelry for them and I have this great idea for a mirror with pretty pressed flowers around it....maybe a bathrobe if it's not too much money...but for my MOH (my sis) and my grandma--I'm learning to knit or crochet from FMIL and making them afghans...and if I have time..one for my mom and step mom.

My DJ isn't one of these DJ companies..he's an independent guy who works out of his house..he's been a DJ for 26 years. He did my best friends' wedding 6 years ago and she recommended him highly...we LOVED him...very personable and just a fun guy to talk to. I have his info if you'd like...he works by word of mouth...doesn't advertise much...in Port Jefferson Station

high voltage Dj(a vendor on here)... has a 5hr dj mc package for $1050...i believe then there are a few other vendors on here.. they are charging $1300

It really all depends on what kind of package you want and that's where the prices go up or down.

The dress I really like is $5500 The flowers are about $8,000-10,000 Photo is $8000 Video is $3400
I am having a band, not a dj so I am not sure.
Obviously, for all of these things, there is a huge price range.

BTRFLYGRL: SHANA OMG!! I am used Glenn Passerelli too as my DJ! He was the DJ at my friend's wedding 2 years ago and he rocked! I just loved his laid back style! I can't beleive someone else around here knows who he is!! How do you know him? I am getting married in 11 days on 9/21 so I will give you a full report!!
