Princess Bridal in Farmingdale

Hi Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has bought their gowns here. How was the service? Good, bad or indifferent...thanks!

Hi there! I just bought my dress at Princess Bridals about 3 weeks ago. I had called to make an appointment a few days before a went. The man who answered the phone was indifferent and borderline obnoxious. I still made the appointment though! I had been to 4 other places (including Saymels!) and didn''t find anything. My girlfriend bought her dress there a few years ago and she was happy with the service. Anyway, when I got there the place was pretty crowded; there was only one consultant working that day (two were out sick). I really just wanted to leave. My mom convinced me to stay and I am sure glad I did. I showed the consultant pictures of what I had in mind, told her what I was willing to spend, etc. She pulled out some dresses, and I fell in love with the first one I tried on. I was crying, mom was crying...I even hugged the saleswoman. My maid of honor even bought her dress there. Shame on me, but I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped me! I thought it was on the receipt. I will have to give the place a call and see if I can track her down. She was such a sweetheart. Good luck in your search! Let me know if you need any other information!

I got my dress, my girls, and my mom's there. If you go on a week night (when it's not crowded) they are fine. The owner can be abrupt but she knows her stuff. The man who answered the phone was probably the buyer who is the one I dealt with to talk $$$$$. They gave me a good deal. Good Luck!

My Mom bought her dress there. We never had a problem with crowds, but typically we went during the week for fittings, etc. Service was great, salespeople were very friendly and helpful. My Mom (and her dress) looked stunning! I would recommend them.

I bought my dress there in October. I dealt with Lynn, she was a sweetheart. My BM dresses were also ordered there, and they gave me a discount because we were ordering six of them. They've been a pleasure so far.
