Princess Bridals In Farmingdale/TERRIBLE

Have any of you gals gone to Pricess Bridals for your gown? I did and what a disaster the people were and the place was. Any ideas of a realy good bridal place I can check out besides Bridal Reflections and Adriennes?

Thanks.

I was happy with The Wedding Center in Commack and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. That's where all the dresses were bought for my wedding.

I went to Bridal Garden in Bethpage. They were great!

My cousin got her gown there two years ago. They were nice enough to her, although some of the alterations were not so good and she had to wait over six months for her gown.

I was her MOH and got my dress there and they were downright rude to me everytime I spoke to them or went in for alterations. I could always count on them for a snide, demeaning comment about how I was just the MOH and how I would never get married, etc.

Can't say I know of any good ones, though. I've heard good things about RK Bridal, but no first-hand knowledge. I bought my dress yesterday at a sample sale and I'm thrilled that I don't have to go to a typical bridal salon!

Yup! I can't believe they did that to you....and that was the first bridal place I went to... imagine that experience!!! I was ready to cry and didn't want to look anymore! So discouraged!

I went there too and had a horrible experience. The customer service, or lack there of, was atrocious...especially from the owner. She was just horrible to me and my family (mom, sister and aunt). I ended up getting my dress from Bridal Suite in Patchogue and have had no problems yet. Friends of mine have raved about Lillette's in Baldwin but I have never been there. Good luck!

(Edited because I accidently hit post before I was finished)

My sister in law bought her gown from there and totally regretted it...but for some reason she went back their for my FG dresses...I hope there aren't problems again.

I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections - but Lillette's in Baldwin was amazing!! My second choice (only b/c they don't accept credit cards)

Try Bridal Suite of Centereach - Ask for Bev - she has been, and continues to be such a great help! Most of the ladies there are - though there is one that I'm not too fond of, don't remember her name though.. sorry!

Best of luck to you!

You should really go to Burtons Bridals in Melville. They are great and the prices are excellent!

I went to Lillette's in Baldwin. Let me tell you, Christina G. is A+. I am a plus-sized bride. She pulled out a million gowns for me to try on, and I felt so self-conscious because there were other more 'slender' brides trying on dresses and I didn't get the 'princess-sy' feel from any of them I was trying on. I was really discouraged when Christina said 'hang on, I'll be right back.' She came back with a gown that was a little out of the norm but when I put it on I was ECSTATIC. She is so friendly, so knowledgeable, etc. I hired her to dress me the day of my wedding. I got a wedding video and a $50 coupon from Lillette's to use toward my purchase of the gown (or towards anything I wanted it for like alterations, headpiece, etc.). They're really good.

Two girls I work with went to Adriennes, and they were not happy. Their dresses came in like 10 days before their wedding!!!!

Try Elegant Bride in Roslyn/Abelrtson or My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck.

I was very happy with my dress and the service I got at the Bridal Garden in Bethpage. My dress fit perfectly and all the BMs dresses looked great too.
