Re: Principal Question
I am not inviting mine and FH is not inviting his. ive said this before but Im the type of person that would feel strange having them there. I feel like they are always looking at you professionally and i just dont need to worry about that at our wedding!

Re: Principal Question
most of my teachers in the last 4 years have invited me - i would say about 5 out of 8
its the same as the business world; i think it is proper to invite your boss

Re: Principal Question
i've only been at my job for 2 yrs but i can say that i've developed a strong relationship with my principal. we actually talk a lot bout non school stuff. i am DEF inviting him.. To be honest, i know he'd be offended if i didn't invite him. when fh sent me flowers to my job he was super excited for me .. lol . and when word got out that i was getting married he personally came to my class to congratulate me..
also, i agree with snowflake..i do think it is proper etiquette to invite u'r boss..

Re: Principal Question
Most teachers in my school invite our principal and assistant principal. Another teacher is getting married the same day I am. When this happens, the principal usually goes to neither wedding. In the interest of space, I would really not like to invite her. Our venue has a maximum number of guests allowed and I would rather fill the space with those I love and want to spend the day with.

Re: Principal Question
I like mine a lot, and work closely with hom and my AP. So my admins will be invited. FH is not inviting his; he doesn't see them socially.

Re: Principal Question
I think I'm going to invite mine, but I think there is, like, a 2% chance that she will actually come, so I will feel better about it if I invited her. A lot of the girls in the past have invited her and she usually says no. I just don't want to be the girl who didn't invite her

Re: Principal Question
My principal retired last year..I might have considered inviting him...Now I'm split bw 2 schools so I have 2 principals. One school is so big that I barely know my principal and I hate my principal at the other school. I think I'm only inviting one school friend and my old custodian...
