Printer help

HI Ladies.

I have designed my own invitations, and now I am thinking of having a printer (professional) print them for me with a pretty color ink.

Does anyone know of any printers in Queens or Nassau?

TIA

You should be able to use any kind of printing place like Kinkos or Sir Speedy. They all do thermography which is the typical process used to print invitations.

Re: Printer help

Pretty ink = expensive. If your talking about someone running through a laser jet or full color not so expensive. Go for a quick printer like the sir speedy mentioned above, pip printing, minuteman press, etc. Try kinkos also.

What they would want to know is have you purchased your paper? If so what is the size? does it have a embossed border, glitter, any texture, etc. OR they may go bring a sample in first. Then they will ask how many are you running. Call prior to walking in print shops like a warning because if they are busy and don't want your business its better to move on and call another printer then walk out from print shop to print shop.

ALWAYS GIVE them extras at least a min of 20!

Ink colors, if your not doing a laser full color print you will be asked to pick out standard colors: black, ref. blue, process blue, burgandy (can vary by printer), ivy mint green, forest green OR PMS colors (pantone matching system) costs at our shop $50 per color extra.

Hope that helps.
