Laser. I lOVE the HP Laserjet 1012 - it was only $150 on sale, and it prints everything really well.

I agree...mine is a HP Laserjet 1300. FH borrowed it from the office. It was extra from a bunch of brand new printers they ordered, so his boss let him take it home. YAY!

Re: Printers for making your own invites...

we have 2 hp inkjet printers at my parents house...
i printed the invites for the 3 party on 1 with goldish ink and it came out great - but black on the vellum bleeds like crazy...
i will look into getting another printer - but it may not save me $ by the time i get the printer, invites and time b/c I have no idea how to do a mail merge etc...

i am going to paper access next week and will experiment with the 2 printers I have...

will let you know how I make out...thanks alot!

Hi Darly!! We have the hp 1000 series laser jet and it was dirt cheap on ebay but in staples or online, they are still like 150 and that is great for a laser printer! the vellum comes out looking awesome with the laser, but the card stock gets a darker tinge on it, so we are going with the vellum. there is also vellum that supposedly is just for inkjet, so you may want to check out that. but your vellum eparty invites looked beautiful, so what about sticking with that theme, staying with the gold? if i find out more, i will let you know! ps...your makeup pics looked awesome!
