I did my own invites and was thinking about having them printed and cut at office depot or staples. My question is I used fonts that I downloaded and then I saved my invites on my flash drive. When I open it on my home pc everthing is fine but when I open it up on a different pc(work) the writing is not in the font I originally used since that pc does not have that particular font installed. I am worried that if I give them my flash drive or disc to print my invites, it won't come out with the fonts I used. Has anyone had this problem? Or does any computer savvy ladies out there have a solution for this?

Re: printing and cutting services
The font that you used on the computer to initially do the invite might not be installed on the other computers that you are trying to open it on. Try downloading the font.

Re: printing and cutting services
you have to install the fonts on your computer - I have a mac so its different then pc. Normally when you go to a print service you should always convert your finals to PDF this way your fonts are locked in.
To install fonts - go to start (menu) whatever its called on the bottom left, go to your system preferences (where you have your monitor/printers/connections etc and you will see a folder called fonts. Place your fonts in there.

I have the fonts on my personal computer. They're in my fonts folder. How do I now save as a pdf so when I save it to my flash drive I can take it anywhere and it will come up they way it should?

Can you call the vendor you are going to use and see if they have the font or if they can DL if for you. I would say that most printing services should have an updated version of all fonts, but when I went to print accommodation cards for my invites they didn't have the matching font I used on my invites.
