Printing Dilema

Can someone please help me?

I'm trying to print my invitations and I'm having an issue. I bought the following paper: http://www.lcipaper.com/catalog/specialty.paper?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=CL2-SW&Store_Code=LPC

I'm using 6X6 pocketfolds and the way that the paper will be cut I'm able get 2 invitations per card stock (landscaped).

My problem is that when I print on the LaserJet printer the ink smudges and it makes the invitation look dirty. What should I do? Has anyone used this particular paper before? If so, what kind of printer did you use?

I was having a similar problem with my printer (Canon i960). I ended up cleaning the printer head and running a few sample sheets through and that got rid of the smudges. My smudges were faint and on the edges of the paper.
