PRINTING ON INVITE ENVELOPES?

PRINTING ON INVITE ENVELOPES?

For those of you who are printing their guests addresses on their invitation envelopes. What is a good and fast program to do this? I was thinking of using Microsoft word because they have an area where you can print envelopes and labels. But I was wondering if there was an easier program I could use. Maybe one that lets me add a guest list in there and then gives me the option to implement the addresses onto envelopes? Is there such a program? lol

Did you try Mail merge on Microsoft word? I wanted to print a double happiness symbol on my envelope so I used Microsoft publisher.

I was thinking about using that but I wasn't sure if there was another program to use or would that be the best way and quickest way.

When you guys say you're using Microsoft Word to address envelops, do you mean that you are going into 'Tools' --> 'Envelopes' and then put each individual address on and feeding the envelope thru your printer?

I have an inkjet printer.......do you think I can do the address on there?

My FH has a laser printer at work that we could use too if that would be better.

What do you guys think?

I have an ink jet and mine came out fine. I ended up doing them individually, just made sure I measured the size of the envelopes and put that as the paper size. If you have lots of envelopes it may take awhile.

If I remember correctly there are two ways to do that using microsoft word.... There is the way you described then there is mail merge and thats when you can use your prepared excel guest list to print envelopes. I didn't use either of them because it was a lil more limited than I wanted. I used Microsoft publisher , this allowed me to be a lil more creative and print a symbol on my envelope.

I have a laser printer. Either I didn't do the right size for the envelope or I really messed up more than that!!! It got STUCK!! What am I going to do? I fed the envelope through and it got stuck in the middle of the printer,.....I am using Microsoft Word and I feel very computer illiterate!!
