Printing Suggestion for all...

OK so i have turned into a DIY Bride (Dad pulled out of wedding so i had to cut budget on ALL accessories, invites, favors etc...) Of course everything was going smoothly and coming out great!!!

Until... I went to print Invites... my printer made them come out smudged.... I was like OMG now what am I going to do....

I just called Staples... they will print invites, response cards reception cards EVERYTHING for $21. Of course i am not doing raised lettering (not in budget anymore) but that is ok because the card stock i bought is embossed and i am adding crystals for that little touch.

Just wanted to let you know Staples will print and CHEAP the sample they did for me was AWESOME!!!

wow, that's a great tip! thanks for sharing!

btw, how does it work? do you send them all your templates and they just print it or is it limited to certain fonts/styles?

thanks for the tip! i think i may make my own STD's and bring them there to print on magnet sheets.

anyways, yes how does it work? (i have been engaged two weeks and have NO clue how invites work or where to even start with them). where did you buy your card stock? Cheap invites sound good to me, that's one thing that I will hate spending money on!

I did everything on the Word template that came with my invitations (downloaded from Gartner studios) I typed it all up put it in the fonts i wanted. Saved it on a CD took the CD and the boxes of card stock to them and they printed it.

OOOps I bought the card stock at Pat Catan's on sale I got a 'kit' 50 invites, 50 response cards, 50 all purpose cards (using them as Reception cards), 50 Place Cards, 100 Programs, 50 Envelops for invites, 50 envelopes for response cards.

I purchased 2 (kits) for $14.99 a piece (they had all different kinds) the one I got has an embossed flourish design at the top and bottom, since it is a bit plain i am adding a crystal in the middle of each flourish.

Self Stick Rhinestones $2.99 for 200 (bought 3 packs so i could put one on each of the cards i am sending with the invites.

I am turning this all into pocketfolds.

I bought the precut cardstock from Anchor paper for $37 for 100 pieces (Tom will cut it to fit what you want). I have to score it and fold (score tool $7 @ Patcatans.)

I bought Rhinestone Buckles from China for 31 cents a piece and then satin ribbon 50 yrds for like $6.99 @ pat catans

Hopefully my mock up will be done in a few days (have to be in the mood, i just finished doing 100 favor bags last night, taking a DIY break....LOL)

AS FOR SAVE THE DATES...

I had my magnets made at Vista print I uploaded a photo I liked and designed it online I got them when they were on sale I paid $18.99 for 50 (now they are $29 for 50

I ordered envelopes for them at savethedatemagnet.com and I got the 3-in- 1 Combination Came with Linen envelope, Glassine envelope, and magnet holder card I got 50 of them for $15.
