Printing your own invites? AQUA and CHOCOLATE BROWN?

Printing your own invites? AQUA and CHOCOLATE BROWN?

Hi everyone,

I'm so mad. I just saw a set of invitations that match the save-the-dates I sent out!!! I already ordered invitation paper, thinking I'd print my own invitations, but now I see a perfect match to go with my magnets. I know my fiance won't go for ordering the matching invites unless I somehow get some money back for the blank paper I already have. I can't say I blame him...

Anyway, if anyone has a teal/aqua and chocolate brown color scheme, I can sell you (we can negotiate a price) a full set (200-count) of :

-Chocolate brown square pocket folders
-Mountable teal square cardstock
-Mountable (custom-cut) white square cardstock
-Teal sashes
-Vellum
-1 set of teal insert cards
-2 sets of white insert cards
-Sheer teal chiffon ribbon
-Teal satin ribbon
-Glue dots

(Insert cards may be used for directions, RSVPs, or reception cards.)

All materials are still in original cellophane.

BEAUTIFUL (and expensive) set! Please, let me know if you're at all interested. This set is really beautiful, but I just can't pass up such a perfect match as the one I just found. (BTW, picture included is in pink and black, but you get the point.) http://invitationpaper.com/tia.html

TIA :)
-Dana

BTW, the custom-cut white cardstock was cut smaller than the teal cardstock, so the teal would stick out from underneath, creating a 3-color layered look.
(The white cardstock isn't shown in the picture.)

Since you haven't opened the paper yet, can you return it?

If not, can you use those for the rehearsel dinner invitation or make your own thank you cards with that paper?

Well, I ordered the paper a while ago, and they won't accept returns after 30 days :(
If I'm stuck with the paper, maybe I'll use it for menus...? I don't know. It's such an expensive set - I'd hate to use it for menus! I have 200... To use 25 for my rehearsal dinner seems like such a waste.
But - thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it!

If it's a money issue, then I would just go ahead and use this paper for the invitations. People are not going to compare it to the STD. My STD's were white magnets with orange flowers, and my invitations were creme with dark red font. Totally different! Don't stress!!

I made my own std & now have printed invites...they didn't match either.

I agree you should just stick with your original plan. It's too much money to waste just to have your STD's match your invites especially since (in all honesty) you're probably going to be the only one that notices they match/don't match.

Trust me - there's much bigger wedding stuff for you to stress over

since you can't return with your receipt cause it is after 30 days, can you return it without a receipt (say it was a gift) and get store credit and buy something else, or try and sell store credit on here? Then people can get what they want, maybe....

Good luck....
