I went this weekend to try her dresses on - i found one but it was really expensive - are there any other designers that make similar classic dresses - also how long does it take for one of her dresses to come in - also is there any other lace to buy a priscilla dress besides the store that is cheaper
Not sure if they have this one in particular but Bride Power.com has Priscilla dresses at a discounted rate.

I tried that dress on too...it's absoltely stunning! Unfortunatly, I don't know where you can find it less expensive other than www.bridepower.com or try www.bridalcouture.com but I am not 100$ sure if they sell that designer.
if they have a trunk show, you can usually get 10% off any of their gowns so that might be worth a try. Good luck!
I think Amsale and Paula Varsalona make similar type gowns but they are definitely not less expensive.

Not sure how much this one is beyond 'expensive' but I'm looking at a Paula Varsalona dress and would get it from houseofbrides.com if I decided on it (trying it on at her boutique on Thursday). Check them out, they have links to the websites and you can get immediate quotes. They don't sell Priscilla of Boston though.

I had that dress - and I made it strapless - Here are some non professional photos that some girls posted for me - they don't do the dress justice. Sorry these are the best I have - my proofs are being mailed to me and I should have them any day

It came in very quickly - I was losing weight so I asked what the last possible time to order without paying for a rush - I ordered the dress in August at their trunk sale (10% off didn't even cover the sales tax! They charge $300 to make it strapless because they put in a kind of corset for the organza) But we didn't place the order until Nov something. The dress was supposed to come in beginning of March - and it actually arrived in the beginning of Feb. Actually I never needed alterations - just the bustle - but I would make your alteration apts early when you order the dress. Actually by the wedding day the dress was a little lose in the chest - since I lost about 10 lbs the few days before.
