Private Country Clubs (Hempstead, Rockville Links, etc.) for Weddings
Sorry for yet another RH questions... Did anyone get married at a CC in Nassau County (like Hempstead, GC, Rockville Links, etc.)?
My parents were members of Hempstead Golf & CC for 30 years and thought I should look into some of the CCs as possible reception sites. That would be wonderful (especially Hempstead b/c the food there is amazing).
My parents are actually going to call them for us to inquire, but does anyone have any idea what the approximate price per person is?
(BTW, I will let you know what we find out after talking to them, too!)

Hempstead CC has good food and the ballroom is beautiful. My parents go to Rockville Links every year for the Lobster night and always have a good time. Just resently someone told me that they attended a wedding at the Royalton at the Roslyn CC and raved about the food.

Growing up my family belonged to Hempstead and I always loved the food there. My cousin had her wedding there 10 years ago, and it was great! I've never been to Rockville Links, except I used to swim against them. I hear that it's really nice there, too. My mom recommended it.
I don't know anything about the Royalton, so I'll have to look into that! Thanks!
Woodbury CC is on my list of places to call, too, but I've never been there. I may have some FM coming your way...

i heard lawrence country club was very good. looks deceived in some of their pics though.
