Is it your first meeting? He's going to ask you questions about you and FH, whether you've been married before, have any children, live together yet, do you plan on having children etc.... But then he may ask some slightly uncomfortable questions, ex: Mine asked does FH make you feel uncomfortable sexually

But all in all it's not too bad, dont be nervous it'll be fine.

I think it all depends on the priest.

Our interview went very well bc our priest is a sweetheart. He asked alot of questions about our relationship....how long we've been together? How we met? Do we get along with each others families? Are we both Catholic?

He was easy to talk to, we ended up just bsing about where we grew up and where our families are from (me and FH are both Sicilian and so is the priest) so he told us about his family background, etc.

It was very relaxing, don't be nervous, just think of the priest as a regular man and you'll be fine. What helped me alot is that the priest was in regular clothing, not in the black shirt, black pants outfit, but I think most are dressed normally when not in church.

Good Luck and just be yourself

No need to worry, they seperate you and you FH and ask a series of questions, like are you pregnant, does your family oppose your union.

They just want to make sure you were not forced into it.

Believe me, I was just as nervous, but its just a formality on their part.

ohhh I have my second meeting on July 8th. I'm not too worried bc we already met the priest. Is your priest friendly? If so, you have nothing to worry about....you'll be ok

you need to ask him what kinds of music is appropriate for the church and types of decorations are allowed because some chuches are funny about that

Pretty much all the things the other girls said but also he asked why do we love each other... that brought a whole list of reasons!

It's not as bad as you think it's going to be.....

They ask you to fill out some papers that ask SIMPLE yes or no questions.......Example: Are you and your soon to be spouse related in any way? Is their anything that would be holding you back from getting married?, Do you want to have children?.....Things like this

He may talk about how marriage is an important sacrament and all that stuff.....

Mine asked How long we have been together, how our communication is, and how we met.....

Don't be nervous! Hope all goes well
