I was wondering if anyone here know or does private tutoring for children? My nephew is a 1st grader and is having a hard time grasping the things they teach him at school. My sister is looking to get him some private tutoring or send him to a learning center but feels that some places are just outrageous what they charge. Any ideas would be great. Also she has looked into Sylvan Learning Center and they are very very pricey. TIA!

I think private tutoring can range from $30-$60 an hr. MY best friend did it for awhile while pregnant.

I do private tutoring and I have to say most of my referals come from former students or the school. I would call the school that your niece is in and ask them for any recommendations.
