Pro pictures for honeymoon

Pro pictures for honeymoon

Is anyone else looking into doing this? I would love to take some professional pictures but I dont know if the Riu in Aruba has a professional photographer on staff. I know the hotels always have people there taking pictures and you can buy them but I was hoping for like a 45 minute session with a professional where FH and I could get some great photos of our honeymoon.....I'm kind of obsessed with capturing the moments.

I was thinking about the same thing - but in my wedding dress - was thinking about giving my camera to a staff member and having them shoot some shots just so I have something.

The Riu in jamaica does so I would assume they would have one in aruba as well.. We got lots of pics done when we were on vacation because their photographers go around the resort and snap lots of photos that you have the option to purchase. I know you can hire them if your wedding is on their property so I would assume you can also hire them for your honeymoon.

My friend at work had it done and I LOVED the idea of it. Plus its alot of nice pictures of the 2 of you together rather then you taking the pictures and FH in them and vice versa....I really hope its reasonable b/c I really want it

You don't need a professional photographer. I've seen girls who said they hired a pro but their HM pics are just as good as mine. We took all of our HM pics with a few exceptions, we asked by standers.
The setting on your HM should be picture perfect so you just need to position the camera in the right place.
We took this picture by placing the camera on the ground set to auto. I told DH to hold my hand as we're walking away and turn around to look at the camera. The second pic from the bottom left is taken with DH holding the camera at arms length. He has long arms. If you're good with photoshop, you can make any picture look pro. Instead of a photographer, I suggest you spend the money on a waterproof camera. DH dropped the camera in the ocean. Since then, we purchased a waterproof, shockproof camera and we love it.

Just to give you another example, we had a professional take pictures of us for the dolphins excursion. Since we did not have a waterproof camera so we didn't have a choice. Each picture cost us $25. We purchased 8 pics plus the DVD. It adds up FAST!
