For almost a year I couldn't figure out was was causing these bleachy looking stains on my VERY EXPENSIVE brand new Hotel Collection towels that my MIL bought from my registry.

I returned them twice, wrote a letter to Macy's and returned them again......

PROACTIV DID IT!!!!!!!

The facewash, even though it's rinsed off, I guess it leaves a film and bleaches your towels!

Be careful with all your new towels, they are $$$$ to replace.

Anyone ever have this problem? It took me a year to figure out......

Not with a proactive, but another product with salacylic acid. I ruined two shirts and it took a while to figure out that it was my face stuff!

I use benzaclin (perscription) and that seriously bleaches fabrics - a lot of acne products do.

my mom put out her nice new towels when we had guests staying this past weekend, my cousin uses Proactive and she bleached out the towels! My poor mom.

My sis had problems with ProActive bleaching out her pillowcases.

I've beenusisng proactive but I do use a separate face towel and I try to use an older one.

OMG, I was wondering why my towels and pillowcases were getting bleached. I assumed DH does not know how to do laundry

i have ruined countless sheets

the only kind of sheets i can use is white from now on
my whole bedroom sheet set from my shower is pretty much ruined...

yeah as soon as i got it, like five yrs ago i started getting the bleach stains, it will bleach ur clothes and anything it touches while wet

I used to use this expensive cream for my face that had peroxide in it that bleached my eyebrows

yes, I have ruined several towels people got for me...now I can only use white.

The same thing happened to my towels and pillow cases but I didn't know what it was from. Now I know.

Any product with Benzoyl Peroxide will do this to sheets/towels....it could even do it to your hair if you don't pin it back when you have it on.

this happened to me when I used pro active- m,y purple sheets and towels turned pink
