do fathers and grandfathers get tuxes or can they just wear suits?
if they get tuxes, do their ties & vests match the groom, the groomsmen, or otherwise?

Our fathers are getting tuxes, but they will not match the GMs vests/ties.
ETA: All of our grandfathers have passed away.

Our fathers and grandfathers are wearing tuxes. They'll probably match the GM - but that's because they're wearing black ties and black vests - so it won't necessarily be intentional.

I think they can do either or. My papa wore a tux to one of my sis's weddings and then a suit to my other's sis's wedding.
Forgot about my dad...he wore a tux to both my sis's weddings and will be to mine as well but he won't match the GM's

My dad is wearing a suit, he's not a tux kind of person. My grandfather is also wearing a suit.

We only have 1 grandfather between the two of us. He's getting a tux and is being aport of the procession. I think it's important to honor our elder family.

Uncle and dad are wearing platinum vest and ties with black tuxes... which is different than FH and our GM.

No grandpas but our dads are wearing tuxes that do not match GM (just black and white)
