has anyone downloaded a font to use from websites like dafont.com? if so where does the font go? i know this is probably a stupid question but everytime i try to download a font it says its downloaded and then i cant find it or use it. if i wanna use a downloaded font in say Microsoft Word where do i go to install the font or how do i use it? im so confused by this.

I had the same problem and I don't remember exactly how I did it.... I googled 'how to use a downloaded font' and got instructions that way. lol

Are you using a mac or pc?
If you're on a mac, you have to see where all downloads go, there might be a default documents or downloads folder. Then (only if you're on a mac) you should open font book, left or right click and go to 'reveal in finder' Then drag your downloaded font to this folder. (Unless you have a font organizer like Suitcase).
Not too sure about PCs, but the steps should be the same.

For a PC, once you download the font - it will go to your downloads or desktop depending on how it's set up. Then go to your control panel --> fonts, and then just put the font from your downloads/desktop into it and voila. Reload the application you were using to have the new font show up.
