ok Im not close to my dad @ all. My uncle is walking me down the aisle and dancing with me. My father is coming does it look bad hes not involved in the 'normal way' I mean I havent even seen him in 7 years. HELP

I still think you should acknowledge your dad in some way!
My uncle had a yucky divorce and Moved to Florida.He lost touch with his children. He was able to get back in touch with his children. His daughter was getting married and he drove up here with his wife and children from Florida. She had her uncle walk her down the aisle. She had her uncle Dance with her. And my uncle was fine with this. But she claimed to be 'to busy' to dance with him during the wedding. NOT ONCE! My uncle was so HURT (he stayed at my house) Even if its not the father daughter dance. Still try to have a special dance. Think about how hurt your father will be. I don't know your situation but What if things get better between you two.

My dad isn't walking me down the aisle, but I will dance with him. We will dance the same time as FH dances with FMIL.
