I ordered my invitations from evite at costco. Well now that I am starting to put them together I find out there is no inner envelope. I called evite and the designer does not make inner envelopes. The invitations are tea length so the inner envelope would have to be 10 x5 but I searched everywhere and no one carries that size. Is it cheesy to just have an outer envelope and put Mr. Smith and Guest?? I don't think I have any other choice at this point! Suggestions please.

Re: problem with envelope
its fine, remember that pocketfolds also dont have inner envelope either. Because of this when it comes to etiquette it has changed since invitations have also changed so bc of this you can write it on the outer when you don't have an inner envelope. I asked an invite person and they gave me this advice so guess its right. I also didnt have inner envelopes and had to write and guest on outside

Re: problem with envelope
5x10 is an odd ball size. The good thing is you don't really need the inner envelope. A lot of ppl are putting 'and Guest' on the outter envelope. It's definately more common these days so don't stress over it.

Re: problem with envelope
Thank you for the input. I guess there really is no point to the inside envelope, no use stressing over it. Thanks.

no use for the inner... just print and guest on the outer... no one will think twice about it
