Problem with Etsy Order - Help!

October 16th - ordered parasol. It says on the website it takes 4-8 weeks to ship.

December 6th - I sent a message on wondering what the status was.

December 15th - She responds that she's super booked and has a few to finish prior to mine and 'but it shouldn't be too much longer'

Dec 16th - I said ok, just wondering since I hadn't heard anything (about a delay)

Jan 26th - I said I understand that she's superbooked, but I've been expecting it since she said it shouldnt be much longer over a month ago

No response..

Her shop still says 4-8 weeks!!!! Can I cancel this and get my money back?? At this point I just want to cancel on principle. Yes, I don't NEED it, but I just feel like the communication is zero and 3.5 months is ridiculous. Etsy users - WWYD????

i had a similar issue.... report to etsy they will notify the seller but cant do much in terms on refund.... kindly ask seller to refund... then how did you pay? i was able to report it to my cc and get a refund through them

ITA with this. if you paid thru paypal, you can dispute

this is why i pay via paypal all the time

they are really good getting you a refund

Thanks girls. I just asked her for a refund. She has great feedback and I'm hoping we can work this out between the two of us.

I paid through Paypal..I hope I don't have to go through Etsy or Paypal to get my $$ back.
