Has anyone had problems choosing a gown? I have been looking for a few months and tried on a variation of gowns. I found one I absolutely LOVED but the price was outrageous. I have tried on others that I liked but I can not decide. I am getting nervous beacuse I really have to choose. I am afraid of choosing a gown and then not liking it three months from now. Time is running out. Am I Crazy? Is anyone else having problems deciding?

Re: Problems choosing a gown
First you have to decide on a price range. Then don't try on anything above that range. Have you looked in Lillette's in Baldwin, I finally found my dress there that I absolutely love.
I made the mistake of trying on dresses above what I really wanted to pay. I don't know what your budget is but Lillette's had a lot of dresses for under $2,000 at least the ones I tried on. Some were even $700. I didn't see any less but there very well may have been.
Good luck.

I am the same way. I can't stand it when I am in the dress store and a girl puts on 1 dress and starts crying and says Oh this is the one!' Pleazze. I can't even pic out my undergarments that quick in the morning. But I guess that is just me. Maybe you could get the pattern for the dress you love nad have a seamstress make it for cheaper!

I was the same way! I looked at so many places, I tried on so many dresses that I started getting depressed. I was convinced that I would have to settle for one of the ones that I just liked until I found 'the one'. It was an amazing feeling! Don't give up. I found mine in the bridal center in Lynbrook. They had a bunch of dresses under $1000. That is what I was looking for. If you want any more info on where I went, fm me! Good luck!!!

Maybe you can buy a sample of the dress you love? (You will save a ton that way.) Or, if you buy it through a trunk show you can save 10-15% - would that be enough?
Having a copy of the dress made is another great suggestion that the girls' gave.
May I ask which dress you are in love with? Maybe you can get it cheaper through Bride Save or a similar website? Or, maybe we can help you find a less expensive, similar looking dress?
