Problems choosing a gown

Problems choosing a gown

Has anyone had problems choosing a gown? I have been looking for a few months and tried on a variation of gowns. I found one I absolutely LOVED but the price was outrageous. I have tried on others that I liked but I can not decide. I am getting nervous beacuse I really have to choose. I am afraid of choosing a gown and then not liking it three months from now. Time is running out. Am I Crazy? Is anyone else having problems deciding?

Why dont you try to get the gown made, it usually turns out alot cheaper and you could make some changes in it to make it unique.

I had problems too. I liked a few gowns. I actually used my family & friends. The one i picked, they loved, and i think that influenced me. The other ones were great, but now i'm excited about my decision.

But the designing your own gown is a great idea too. Have you taken pics of the dress you loved to any shops and asked for something similar, in more your price range?

Also -bridget i just saw you are getting married on my birthday! You picked a great day - congrats!

Go with your gut. If you have your heart set on the pricey dress get one made
I was torn too. But when i tried on my gown i knew. Maybe you haven't found your yet

I think if that's the gown you absolutely love, try to get it made. It will definitely be less costly!

if you found a dress you loved, why don't you try to find ones with similar characteristics. bring in a picture of it to a salon, but tell them your price range.

Thanks for the advice. I went again last night and I am going again on Sunday.

Having the gown custom made is a good idea.

Does anyone know of a reputable bridal dress maker?

Initially when I started looking I swore I would never be able to choose. I had no idea where to begin. Then it dawned on me. I looked at my own wardrobe and at dresses I felt good in and when I wear get tons of compliments. I found common themes and deduced what was flattering on me. I then went back online and looked at dresses with a different perspective. I found 'the one'. My mom is going to use it as an inspiration piece and make my dress.

I can totally relate... I thought I found 'the one' and went this morning to go order it just to find out that it's not the one. It's so frustrating...
