problems purchasing on etsy?

My future MIL is helping us pay for our invitations which we are buying on Etsy. However, we are having issues with the credit card... the card has the credit available, we spoke with the credit card company numerous times and they say there's no issue.

Every time I put the card info in, it says 'This card cannot be used for this purchase. Please use another card.' Has anyone ever dealt with this?

I contacted the seller and she doesn't know what the issue is, and I am waiting to hear back from Etsy. So frustrating!
