Problems with my invitations...

Has anyone ever heard that thermopress sometimes causes ink splotches? I am being told by the printer they are redoing my invites again for the 3rd time because of this? I am really starting to get nervous. What should I do. My wedding is the end of August and if I don't get them by the end of the week, should I start considering other options?

Did they say when you would have them?? Are you getting a discount? IMO - if you don't get them by mid-next week I would consider other options

I think it can be possible this is happening depending on the type of cardstock they are being printed on. I've heard of past brides who had done DIY invites and then trying to print them (not thermographed), I believe and they would smear. If I remember correctly, it is usually a shiny type of texture invite they have a problem with.

I can't tell you if this is the issue with yours though.

thanks ladies, they just got back to me again and said I should have them on Friday. I really hope this is true, becuase I did hear the same thing last week.

I really didwant them to go out last week, I did not do a save the date, we did it by word of mouth, so I figured if they went out the beginning of June for the end of August most would not have made their summer plans.

Yea if the 3rd time isnt the charm I would start thinking about other options. Good Luck
