I am trying to figure out how to work this. Obviously, my mother would be the last one to go down before the BP. She would be escorted by my oldest brother who either is going to be a groomsman or head usher. FH’s mother I assume would go before her. Who escorts her? Should it be one of her own sons, or could it be my other brother who is another usher (or groomsman.) She would be followed by her husband (FH’s step-dad.) What about FH’s father and step-mom. Should they be already seated? Should they be seated right before FH’s mom? Should his step-mom be escorted by someone and his dad walk behind her? I don’t know. Please help

Re: Procession of Mothers
We had my husbands parents walk down the aisle. So my FIL escorted my MIL.
You could have FH's father and step-mom, then his mom escorted by his step-dad, then your mom escorted by your brother.

That sounds as if it would work.

I am going the have my FIL and MIL walk my FH down the isle, and my mom and dad are going to wlak me down the aisle, if my dad doesn't flip out. Ohterwise I will ahve my brother walk my mom down the aisle. When I looked at the books, this said it was the jewish processional, I am not Jewish but I like that the processional like that.

Re: Procession of Mothers
Here is what we did. Scott escorted his mother down the aisle (his parents are divorced and she didn't want her X-husband doing it). We could have had Scott's brother walk his mom down, but Scott thought it would be really nice to do it himself, and it was a really nice moment for them. Then my stepmother was escorted by my 2 younger brothers (she didn't want one to feel left out) then I was escorted by my mom and dad. if my grandmothers were alive they would have walked down the aisle before Scott's mother, escorted by my grandfathers.
