Procession question

My bridesmaid just asked me how I'm choosing to pair up the bridal party, and I have no idea. Here is the cast of characters:

MOH- Sister
BM-Aunt
JBM- Aunt's 10 year old daughter (cousin)
BM- FSIL #1
BM-FSIL #2

Groomsmen:

Best man - FBIL (FSIL #2 Hubby)
GM #1 - FH's friend
GM #2 - FH's friend
GM #3 - BIL (FSIL #1Hubby)
GM #4 - FH's friend

Who usually walks down alone and who gets paired, and does it matter who they're paired with? TIA! How would you assemble our motley crew? lol

Since we had a jewish orthodox ceremony, my rabbi wouldn't allow the men and women to walk down together unless they were married. So everyone walked down on their own, but they paired up after the ceremony.

Ok, thank you. We are having an interfaith (Jewish/Catholic ceremony) and would just do it however it's traditionally done, but I have no idea how that is? Thank you for your post though

I think the Best Man should be at the alter w/ Groom, and the MOH usually walks down alone, last, right before the Bride. Pair the others off however you want. That's what I'm doing.

then best man
then groom w/ parents
then rest of bp (paired or single, it's up to u)
then MOH
then bride w/ parents

I have best man up front with FH. Girls & guys are paired off based on how long we've known them. MOH will walk down aisle alone immediately before FG, who walks immediately before ME!!!

You're extremely lucky to have both sets of grandparents. Between FH & I we have only my grandpa and he was not going to come because of the 3-4 hour ride (he lives in PA). As far as best man and FH I WOULD do it the way you have it, (I assume you are Christian) but because FH is Jewish, he walks down with both of his parents. I am not walking down with both of mine, only my dad as are you.

Another problem we are going to encounter is the chuppah. FH's family is standing under it as we do our vows (which is more nervewracking for me, but ok) and my family wants to sit up front the entire time, so we will have a lopsided chuppah! My parents don't feel comfortable standing and in Catholic weddings the parents usually sit in the first pew in the church.
