So, here's who I have to get down that aisle: my Dad's Mom, my Mom's Mom, FH's only remaining grandparent (Mom's Mom), FH parents (still married), FH, Best Man, 6 Groomsmen, 8 Bridesmaids, 1 MOH, MOB (not walking me down the aisle), Me and FOB. Oh, and the officiant.
What is the order for this? I know I can do 'whatever I want' but I honestly have no idea what I want, what the traditions are, etc. Help!
ETA: And - who escorts the MOB and the grandmothers? Both of my brothers are groomsmen, and so are both of FH's brothers (one is best man).

Re: Processional Help!
Here is what we are doing:
my mom escorted by my dad (then he will come back around to walk me down the aisle) FH escorted by both his parents each BM escorted by a GM MOH by herself FG and RB me and dad!
HTH
You could always have your brothers escort your grandmothers down the aisle and then just come back around.

Re: Processional Help!
That does help!!! And I like the idea of having my bros do the grandmas and then come back around - that is a really good idea!
Another question - how do you decide which BMs go first? I've read height order - but does the shortest go first and the tallest last? Or vice versa?

Re: Processional Help!
Yeah I liked the idea of my dad coming back around for me too, b/c I don't have any brothers or anyone else that would be appropriate to walk my mother down... and since my parents are still happily married, I really wanted them to walk together!
If you want height order, then I think shortest would walk down first, b/c those people will be standing closest to you and FH and then each person continues the line outward from you. Does that make sense?? lol I think my BP will be seated for most of the ceremony (it's in church) so it won't really matter too much. For photos I'm sure the photog will arrange you the way that looks best.
