Did the Groomsmen stand at the alter w/FH and the Bridesmaids walked down the aisle alone then you, or did the Groomsmen escort the Bridesmaids down the aisle?

I've actually looked up the etiquitte on this, and truthfully, it can go either way.
I like both ways, but there's something to be said for letting the bridesmaids have their 'moment' to shine. Plus, that allows the groom to have his 'support group' of guys with him.
Attendants can be paired up for the recessional accordinly.
Really, it all comes down to a matter of preference. If a lot of your bridesmaids are the shy type, having them walk down the aisle with a groomsman will take a little of the pressure off.
All in all, both ways look great!

I really think this can go both ways. I will have the GMs walk down with the BMs though--some of my BMs are shy and don't want to walk by themselves anyway.

I had DH & BM stand at the alter. All BM's were excorted except for MOH.

DH came down the aisle himself and waited--then his BM walked their mom down the aisle (since FIL wasn't there), and stood with my DH at the altar--then the GMs and BMs & MOH came down, followed by the FG, and then me!

this is the way we're going as well...since FH's BM is his dad, FH's parents will escort him down the aisle and then FH and his dad will stand at the alter. BMs will then be escorted by GMs....

i had Mom and brother (DH's mom is passed) Bridesmaids 2 MOH's flower girl Me
Music changed after Mom and after flower girl so 3 pieces in total.
