How many of you are not using the traditional bridal march or bridal chorus for your processional?

Re: Processional Music
I am thinking of using instrumentals of two of my favorite Beatles songs: In My Life and Here There & Everywhere. My dream is to have a guitar/flute duo!! I just hope I can do this in my church!

Yes, it is traditional.
I used Cannon in D also. I had a pianist play it.

Re: Processional Music
I'm not using any traditional music for the ceremony, only the prelude (when the guests are arriving).

oooooh good choice!
I'm all torn because I want the Beatles songs for my processional...but not sure how it will work with the more wedding-traditional music of the church...well I sure have time!
I'm trying to think of a perfect Beatles song for the recessional but the only one that comes to me is 'All You Need is Love'! hahaha!

the recessional will be 'happy together' by the turtles... i guess it's easy to see that we're not going to have a very traditional wedding

I LOOOOOVE the Beatles. They have been my favorite forever. I wanted to use them too but my church only allowed church type music. BOOO So at the bottom of my programs it says 'all you need is love' yay for the beatles!

Re: Processional Music
I love the Beatles too!! One of the favors I intend on doing is a CD, and I was going to put a few Beatles songs on there.
One of them is 'Love' by John Lennon- not sure if that would work for you guys in the church....and it's a little slow, but its so beautiful!! I love it.
