What are you all walking down the aisle to? What about your bridal party? I love the IDEA of the traditional bridal march, but I don't really like the song at all. I'm so torn!

Canon in D
Are you walking down to that or your bridal party? Or both? I think I might have my bridal party come down to that.

Omg you just gave me a great idea! Our wedding song is 'Everything' by Lifehouse, I can see if my cellist can play the instrumental for my BP to walk into! Thanks!!

Re: Processional Music
We are having a violinist and pianist duet for our ceremony
The bridal party will come in to 'The Scientist' by Coldplay (we are huge Coldplay fans)
I will walk to Canon in D
ETA: We are still working on the recessional song- maybe 'She's Always A Woman' by Billy Joel or 'Falling' by Alicia Keys or 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars but not 100% sure yet

Re: Processional Music
Bridal party is walking in to trumpet voluntary aka prince of denmark march. Im walking in to pachelbels cannon in D.
Officiant, groom and best man, and grooms parents are walking in to ave maria (schubert version).
Recessional is ode to joy flowing in to all you need is love. All of this is by harp and violin duo.
Im also trying to incorporate israel kamawawiole version of over the rainbow but not sure where yet.

Re: Processional Music
Canon in D for me, the G-string song hahaha (I call it that, but it's Mozart, i think, air on a g string, or something) for the BP.
I am still undecided on all of these but this is what I have now.

Re: Processional Music
I am walking down to Canon in D. However, not the regular one everyone uses but Transsiberian Orchestras version which is called Christmas Rock. We are gonna use that version without the lyrics.

Re: Processional Music
we are all walking into the same thing - Claire de Lune by Debussy. It has a natural progression in the music that works well for having the bridal party walk in, then groom, and then me.
