We're not having the groom or groomsmen walk at all -- they'll be waiting at the altar. We're having the granparents, parents, then BMs, then Maid of Honor, then ring bearer (we dont have a flower girl), and then finally ME!!

Re: processional order?

there are many ways of doing this:

Jewish ceremony usually has the groom escorted down w/ his parents
then bride's mother with relative or friend, bridal party with their dates, then MOH and BM, then flower girl, then bride and dad (or whoever's walking down the isle)

There are so many ways of doing this that there isn't a 'right' way any more.

Many people opt to have it this way:

officiant
groom (or groom w. bm or groomsmen first, then groom)
Mother of Bride w/ escort
Parents of Groom
Bridal party
MOH (or MOH and BM)
Flower Girl/Ring B (or if they are young and have parents in BP- send them down before MOH and BM)
Bride and FOB

We are having FH and his parents go in then his grandparents (if they feel up to it) my grandparents, Mom, BMs and GMs, flowergirls, me and my dad!

( I think- subject to change)

Thats a great idea, we have a lop sided BP and I have been trying to figure out how to work it-maybe I will have them waiting......are they going to wait from the minute people start getting there? or are they all going to walk up together (not necessarily walk in the processional)?

Thanks ladies, Im just trying to figure this out

I am not having the groom or GM's walk down either. They will all be waiting for us at the alter...then my RB, FG, BM'S, MOH and me and parents

Re: processional order?

I only have 3 girls on my side, my MOH had to step down and we have 6-8 boys...I am trying very hard to cut that number b/c I think its too many

Would it be ok to have all the girls walk alone and what about the recessional-would they walk with the guys or single?

Re: processional order?

My brother had him and my parents together, then the grooms grandparents, then the brides grandparents, then the BM , then the gm, then the best men, then the maids of honor, then her and her parents.

We are doing my fh and his mom, my grandparents, if his grandmother comes in from PR, the BM escorted by the GM (I am doubling up on GM to every BM), the best man, the maid of honor, and me and my parents!
