Processional/Recessional Music

I'm trying to pick my ceremony music and have been listening to ceremony music clips all morning.

What songs are you using for the processional (for BP and bride) and for the recessional?

Thanks

The bridal party walked in to 'Love' by Paul Simon, I walked in to 'I Will' by the Beatles and the recessional was this song popular in Jewish weddings. I forgot the name but it was definitely upbeat!

Bridal Party - Air on the G String.......I laugh every time I see that LOL!!!!

Bride - Cannon in D

Recessional - Wedding March and after that the organist will play Jesu, the Joy of Man's Desiring.

You can go to www.wedalert.com and listen to all the selections! It was a huge help!

This is what I used
Processional:
Groom escorted by his mother; Sunrise Sunset
My mom escorted by my brother: Trumpet Voluntary
BM, FG, RB MOH: Cannon in D
Me escorted by my dad: Bridal Chorus

Recessional: All to Bridal March

I downloaded the songs from Kazaa, just to hear them. Also I met with my organist for about an hour - to make sure she knew the songs and knew what songs to play for for was walking down.
GOOD LUCK!

Bride's Processional
Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel

Recessional
Wedding March - A Midsummer's Night Dream by Felix Mendelssohn

ETA: I gave my harpist the freedom to choose the song for the Mothers walking down and lighting the Unity candle. I don't know what it was, but it was beautiful

Dumb question: Is 'Bridal Chorus' the old 'Here Comes the Bride'? It's probably corny but I want to walk to walk in to the song!

Processional: I'm leaning towards having the band play 'Here & Now' by Luther Vandross, but a sax will lightly play where Luther would be singing.

Recessional: Three fold 'Amen' chorus
