Productive night!

Productive night!

Tonight FH and I began to tie up all of the loose ends. We went to AC Moore & purchased tulle circles for the chocolate favors and extra ribbons for the Livestrong bracelets. All were purchased with 40% off coupons from Michaels (they honor competitor's coupons). Then we went to a tanning salon and purchased a package for both of us. I personally could care less to be tan for the wedding. However I definitely do not want to spend my time in Aruba with sun poisioning! Then we came home and began to make the photo cube! We're about halfway done with it. I am still looking for more pics to put in it, but I am happy with the progress so far. I can't believe how soon the wedding is!

Thanks Melissa! I don't think I am going to rest until the hm! There is still so much to do. Strangely, though, I am not anxious. I have this weird sense of calm. I don't think it's normal!

I hear you about not resting til the HM! I think I'm joining you on the oddly calm side - ever since I got my license this morning, I feel - unstressed!

Yep! I was a little disappointed with their selection. I think that Lady Jane on Cross Bay Blvd. has better stuff. But they had what we needed.

I am lucky that John has been involved in this whole process. It makes it a lot easier on me. Well, except when he doesn't agree with my ideas!

But of course dahhling! You can also borrow my pearl & gold earrings if you want!

John is so burned today! Luckily, I only did 10 minutes and have just a hint of color. I am going to go back tomorrow for another 10 minutes and gradually work my way up to 15.

I thought I was the only one that thought that Lady Jane had a more varied selection. I've actually bought most of my stuff from there.

Are you finding the photo cube easier to make than expected?

Well my part is easy! However, John has had some trouble with the screws for the L brackets. He stopped after screwing them into 2 of the frames last night. Once he was able to fix that, it was ok. I ended up buying 2 matts that were a little too big so I trimmed them down and now they look nice. We're going to attach the cube to a lazy susan that we got at AC Moore, so I will keep you all updated!

Amy, did it go smoothly for you?

It pretty much did. The screws part my older brother took care of, but he used a drill to put them in so maybe that made a difference. Is John just using a screwdriver?

Oh Hollie - I didn't think it was normal either. I'm one of the most high strung anxious people you'd ever meet. Yet, the week of the wedding, I was sooooooooooooooo relaxed and calm that my friends were saying it was scary! The day of the wedding, again, I was the most composed I think I've been in my life! For the 9 months leading up to the wedding, I was so concerned about being a sobbing mess on my wedding day, and I wasn't! I even called my dad the night before and gave him very strict instructions on not to say anything to me or hug or kiss me right before we went down the aisle, because I didn't want to lose it! And again, all I could do was smile from ear to ear walking down the aisle, very composed and calm!

You'll do great I'm sure, and I can't wait to see pictures of your wedding!

John is using an electric screwdriver (I think!). I hope the rest is smooth sailing from here on out. Once it's finished, I'll make the top.
