I have been soo busy with work that all my wedding planning has completely taken a back seat for the past couple of months. Monday is 8 months and so far all I've done is book the venue, band, florist, officiant, and I got a dress.
Until this weekend! I send out my Save the Dates, and my bridesmaids got their dresses! Yay
Now I'm trying to figure out what I should do next...Invitations? Hair and Makeup people? Book the hotel? Any ideas?

congrats on the checks!! i would look into invites.. im doing that now and it depending on who you use it could take a few weeks to months to get it all done. then i would look at hair and makeup.. i found they book up really fast. i already did limos because my wedding is prom season and i didnt want to lose out. hth

i think the 4 things you mentioned are good places to focus on. I would actually work on hotel block, MUA, hair and then invitations. I just sent back my proof for my invitations and I'm getting married a month before you so I think you are ok in terms of timing for invitations.

I would look into booking a photographer, choosing invites & then selecting hair & makeup people. The room block can be done around 6months out.
