FH wants to get a professional shave before the wedding, preferably somewhere on the south shore of Long Island near Ronkonkoma or Islip. He went to one place and they really cut his face, so any recommendations of really good places would be so appreciated!! TIA!!!

Re: professional shave
I'm from Patchogue which is like 15 minutes away from Ronkonkoma on the S. Shore. My FH goes to Blazin Cutz on Main st. They always do a good job.

Re: professional shave
The best place is a really 'traditional' barber shop where the old barbers use straight edges.

Re: professional shave
we'll look into Blazin Cuts! But I agree - it's so hard to find something! FH came back from one and it looked like his face went through a war (not the look we want for our wedding)

FYI - Blazin Cutz is actually on South Ocean Avenue, South of Main st.

Only place that I know of that is reputable is The Art of Shaving in Roosevelt Field Mall...but that's kind of far for you.
